After this course, you will likely have saved yourself months of research and covered enough basic concepts to insulate ecologically yourself, install or purchase a solar water heating system, build or buy a standalone solar panel system, grasp the basic concepts of a constructed wetland filter, know the how and why of a composting toilet and build one yourself, and decide how to manage your water collection. You gain basic sustainable concepts to understand the workings of various self-sufficient off-grid and sustainable building issues, and to be able to see the sense and, especially, the nonsense of "new" technology in terms of sustainability.
